This page contains links to download the parish register database, either in its entirety or individual counties. Please do read the user guide, which explains the structure of the files.
A full list of the parishes included, by county, including the dates for which baptisms, marriages and burials are counted, is available in Excel by clicking on the button below.
Download by County
To download the files for each county, click on the appropriate link below. The files for the parishes in each county will be downloaded in a zip file. The zip file can be unpacked to release two files for each parish: one Excel file containing the data, and a text file giving details about the characteristics of each parish. Details about the contents of the files are provided in the user guide.
